What do I need to use the PixelMill WSS Skins?
You need a Windows SharePoint Services (local or hosted) site. If you are not
sure about your provider, give them a call or check out what hosting platforms
they offer. If you don’t have a SharePoint Hosting Provider we recommend
Frontpages Web Hosting our preferred SharePoint Hosting Provider.

Can I use SharePoint Designer or FrontPage with the skins?
For basic application SharePoint Designer is not needed. For advanced
application (where you want to modify the look of the pages in your _layouts
directory) SharePoint Designer is required.
Since FrontPage is no longer supported
by Microsoft, we decided to only build and test within SharePoint Designer.

What kind of changes can I make to the skins?
The PixelMill Skins do not modify the layout of the master page just the CSS.
Design/layout changes are not recommended without using SharePoint Designer or
prior knowledge of Master Pages, HTML and CSS.

What about the logo image, can I change that?
Yes. The logo image that comes has a blank image included in the download
so changes are simple. Using your graphics editor just add your text
or logo to the image, save with the same name and upload the image.

What if I want to make other changes to my skin?
Depending on the change, we recommend that you use SharePoint Designer and
have knowledge of master pages, HTML and CSS. If you are not familiar with those, don’t worry
you can request a PixelMill SharePoint Custom Quote.
