Audio Example Problems

Article ID: KB101783

Are you having problems listening to or hearing out Audio Examples for our Royalty Free Music?

There are three common issues that can cause our audio examples for our Royalty Free Music section to not play properly.
  1. You need to install the Adobe Flash Player.
  2. You already have installed the Adobe Flash Player, but you need to upgrade to the latest version.
  3. You have the latest Flash Player installed, but it has become corrupt.

1. You need to install the Adobe Flash Player
If you have not already done so, you will want to go to Adobe and install the latest flash player.

2. You already have installed the Adobe Flash Player, but you need to upgrade to the latest version
If you think you already have the Flash player installed, but am not sure that you have the latest version, you will want to visit Adobe and install the latest flash player. Although our Music Player does not actually require the latest Flash Player, we have found that such an upgrade will often allow our visitors to listen to our sample audio files.

3. You have the latest Flash Player installed, but it has become corrupt
This seems to be the most common problems we have seen. For some reason a browser's Flash player just stops working correctly, and the only solution appears to be to just reinstall the Adobe Flash Player. Sometimes all you will need to do is visit Adobe and install the latest flash player again. In some cases this is not enough. We have found that often you will need to completely remove your current Flash Player from your system before you reinstall the latest Flash Player from Adobe. To do this you will need to open your Control Panel and then select "Add / Remove Programs". Within your programs list you will want to uninstall your Flash Player and likely it's plugin as well. This is normally named something like, "Macromedia Flash Player" or "Adobe Flash Player". After you have removed these programs, go ahead and return to Adobe's website and reinstall the Flash Player.
