My Save for Later items seem to have disappeared.

There have been a few reports from customers that have saved items for later but then find that all of a sudden they have disappeared. While we have been unable to duplicate this problem; we have narrowed it down to a recent update to Microsoft's IE 6.0 that included an update pertaining to how cookies are handled. So far we have only seen users of IE 6.0 run into this problem.

PixelMill uses cookies to help remember who you (the customer) are when you return to PixelMill. The only data stored in this cookie is an id that associates you with our system. This cookie is always verified for security reasons to make sure that it has not been tampered with or stolen by a malicious user.

To help make sure that you do not run into this problem we recommend the following:

1. Always add and save products to your PixelMill shopping cart in only one Web Browser. Opening many different browsers at one time in IE causes problems.

2. Always use the links provided in the PixelMill store to navigate throughout our site. If you want to return to the Home Page, simply click on the "Products" tab or on the PixelMill logo found at the top of every Web page at PixelMill.

3. Turn on or allow Session Cookies in Internet Explorer

4. As an alternative to Microsoft Internet Explorer: try using the FireFox Web Browser: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
