Adding and Deleting Pages From Your New Web (FP2000)

Your new web comes with several pre-designed pages.
Browse through your new web to decide what pages you want to
delete and what other pages you need to add. You may wish to
begin adding some content to help you with this process.
To delete pages from your web, right-click in your
Folder List on the file you wish to delete and select "Delete."
You may also go to Folder View to select multiple files.
Once again, select the files, then right-click and select "Delete."
To add pages to your web, you may choose to add pages using a
page template or by resaving an existing page.
Adding Pages using a Page Template:
Go to File/New/Page.
Choose from the list of page templates.
Click "OK" and your new page will be created.
Save your new page into your web and save any embedded images into the "images" folder
by going to File/Save.
Then, go to Navigation View. Drag your page into your navigation structure.
You may need to adjust the properties of your navigation bars. Go back to
Page View and right-click on the navigation bars. Select "Navigation Bar Properties."

Adding Pages by Resaving an Existing Page
This is useful if you have made some layout changes that you wish to apply to
other pages. Simply go to File/Save As and save your page under a different name.
See Steps 3 and 4 above to learn about bringing your new page into navigation view.
*About Saving Pages
When you save your page, you will need to change the file name as well as the
page title.
The page title may have spaces in it, and it will show up in your navigation
buttons and banners as well as in the Title bar of the browser.
The file name ends in an .htm or .html extension and
shows up in your Folder List. It's best to use all lowercase letters; also make sure
that there are no spaces -- you can use hypens or underscores instead. You will probably want
to name it similar to your Page Title so that you can easily tell what page it is.
Example:
Page Title: "All About Me"
Good File Names: allaboutme.htm; all_about_me.htm; about.htm
Bad File Names: all about me.htm; About Me.htm
