About Expression Web Sites
Article ID: KB101747
Expression Web can edit any HTML site, but the term Expression Web Site is used to describe
web sites that are created specifically for use with Expression Web. These web sites have the usual HTML pages, graphic files,
etc., but will also include Expression Web-specific components such as Include Pages, Dynamic Web Templates, or .NET Master Pages.
These specific components make the site easier to maintain and grow with Expression Web.
Most FrontPage Web sites can be edited in Expression Web as well, as long as they do not depend on the
FrontPage Navigation Structure for generating link bars.
