Importing Files

Article ID: KB101251

There are two ways that you may import files into your FrontPage or Expression Web site.

File > Import Command

  1. Go to File > Import. (Expression Web: File > Import > File)
  2. Click "Add File" to import a file, or "Add Folder" to import a folder that holds several files.

  3. Browse to the file that you wish to import and select it. Add more files as necessary.
  4. Click "OK."
  5. The file(s)/folder(s) will be added to your web site.

Drag/Drop

  1. With your FrontPage or Expression Web Folder List showing, open Windows Explorer.
  2. In Windows Explorer, browse to the file(s)/folder(s) you wish to import into your web site.
  3. Drag the files from Windows Explorer and drop them into the Folder List.

  4. The file(s)/folder(s) will be imported into your web site.
