New Task Pane

The New Task Pane is available in FrontPage 2002 and FrontPage 2003.
(FrontPage 2000 did not have a Task Pane; all new webs were created by going to
File > New > Web.)
In FrontPage 2002, the New Task Pane is accessed by going to File > New >
Page or Web. In FrontPage 2003, File > New will bring up the task pane.
From the task pane, you may then choose to create new pages or webs.
FrontPage 2002
- Blank page - create a new blank page.
- Empty web - create a new FrontPage web with no starter pages.
- Choose page... - create a new page based on an existing page in
your web site.
- Page templates... - create a new page based on a FrontPage page
template.
- Web templates... - create a new web based on a FrontPage web
template.
- Templates on Microsoft.com - find templates on Microsoft's web
site.
FrontPage 2003
- Blank page - create a new blank page
- Text file - create a new blank text file
- From existing page... - create a new page based on an existing
page in your web site
- More page templates... - create a new page based on a FrontPage
page template.
- One page Web site... - create a new web site that has one starter
page.
- SharePoint team site... - create a new SharePoint team web site
(must be created on a site that has Windows SharePoint Services).
- Web package solutions... - create a new web site based on
SharePoint technology (must be created on a site that has Windows SharePoint
Services installed).
- More Web site templates... - create a new web based on a
FrontPage web template
- Templates on Office Online - fine templates on Microsoft's web
site.
