Style Dialog Box
Article ID: KB101412
FrontPage allows you to create
external style sheets,
internal style sheets,
and
inline styles.
In the course of making these, you will inevitably encounter the Style dialog
box:

The left column shows the list of styles. You may either view the full list
of possible HTML tags, or drop-down to reveal the "User-defined styles."

You may create new styles by clicking the "New" button. Double-clicking on a
style (or choosing it and clicking the "Modify" button) will allow you to make
changes to the style. The New Style and the Modify Style dialog boxes are very
similar:

The Name field allows you to either type an HTML tag or a
custom class. Custom class names must start with a period, as in ".blue,"
".style1," or ".indented." The Style type field allows you to define
whether or not custom styles (classes) should apply to an entire paragraph or to
individual characters. In HTML-talk, this determines whether a custom style
applies to a "block element" or "inline element."
When you click the Format button, you get several options... (Note -
the dialog boxes for these options are the same as when you go to the Format
menu.)
