Frontpage Server Extensions

Article ID: KB101275

Some components in FrontPage require that your server has FrontPage Extensions installed. You will need to check with your hosting service to see whether or not they have FrontPage Extensions. If they don't, you can still use FrontPage and FrontPage Web Templates to build your site, but you may not be able to use all the features of FrontPage in your web site.

New FrontPage Server Extension Information: The Office XP system including the FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) 2002, were "End of Lifed" on July 11th, 2005, according to the Office lifecycle policy. http://support.microsoft.com/?LN=en-us&pr=lifecycle&scid=gp%3B%5Bln%5D%3Blifecycle&x=15&y=10.

Extensions for Customers Hosting on the UNIX/Linux Server Platform

Ready - to - Run Software (RTR) can no longer provide the FPSE's for download or distribution. RTR will not respond individually to requests for the Server Extensions.
