Toolbox Task Pane

The Toolbox task pane allows you to add HTML elements to your site by dragging and dropping from the Toolbox onto your page.
If you have your DOCTYPE set for your page, the Toolbox will insert HTML code that is appropriate to the DOCTYPE.
For example, adding a Break element onto the page will create either <br> (HTML 4.01) or <br /> (XHTML 1.0) in the HTML.
The Toolbox allows you to add typical HTML elements (<div>, <p>, etc.), form elements (<input>, etc.), as well as ASP.NET controls.
You should have some basic idea of how HTML elements work to use the Toolbox most efficiently.
